Chicago Symphony Orchestra & Ricardo Multi performing the Brandenburg Concertos of Bach through Uni

This was an album cover created for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra & Ricardo Multi performing the Brandenburg Concertos of Bach through Universal Studios. A two part series with the third being all of the previous together, all different but a strong through line of continuity. A singular modular graphic grid was created that I broke apart and scattered throughout the albums, all three have the same underlying grid shapes but different forms are highlighted in each. As someone who was in an orchestra for eleven years I wanted to really portray the movement and shapes of the sounds, and like an orchestra, the layering of many different element to create a beautiful symphony. It’s a jazzy vibe with the colors and overall aesthetic. The colors are bright, the music is black and professional, the words bold and legible. BACH a powerful word a powerful name front and center, that is who they are playing that is the originator that is who the homage is going to and also who is going to bring in listeners and viewers. 1-3 has the flow of big instruments while 4-6 has a more structured but together in 1-6 both sides come together for something beautifully layered. The black and white rectangles signify time signature and notes themselves.
